DC Office of the State Superintendent of Education (OSSE), extended their July 23rd extension pushing back further until September 7th. The original due date for completing online applications for the DC Tuition Assistance Grants (DCTAG) was June 30th but now DC students have more time.
This is great news for the procrastinators of the world and evidence that the last can truly be first if he or she would only turn around and go in the opposite direction, that’s always true!
Updates to DC Tag (10k Scholarship)
- New Deadline is September 7, 2020

- Create User Name and Password / Get on their mailing list – Sometimes there’s money left over because someone always has dropped off for quit. If you’re the student trying to work hard with drive and ethic, the extras drop right in your lap. Someone will notice and help to get you there.
- Required Documents and How to Submit (PDF) Remember documentation and requirements have changed somewhat, so be sure to read through this section before you submit
- Complete your Completed Application Here! This is the easiest link I’ve found getting you the right place. Sometimes there’s a rabbit hole, but Ms. Patrina has your back the easy way (smile)!
- Don’t forget to Apply for Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible, usually opens in October and is on a 1st come 1st served basis
