NEA Jazz Master judges convene a panel and votes on one winner based on the following:
- Evidence of Talent
- Potential as a Jazz Performer & Composer
- Availability to Attend BMI’s Annual Celebration of NEA Jazz Masters Fellows
Well-known Jazz Musicians like Ron Carter, Jack Dejohnette, Jimmy Heath, and Ahmad Jamal.
Apply for this scholarship, only if you are a full-time or part-time student attending an accredited college or university in the U.S. If you are currently in high school, this is NOT the application for you – NOT eligible.
